Description of Sensory Evaluation:

The sensory quality of a food product is the most important factor influencing its success in the marketplace. We can test the consumer acceptability of any food product by using trained and untrained panelists of various ages.

Price for Sensory Evaluation:

($30 / product / person) + 18% administration fee added to the total

Price Estimate Example: 

The estimated cost for the test will depend on sample numbers and panelist numbers.

For example, if a company needs to test 3 salad samples evaluated for aroma, color, freshness, mouthfeel, flavor, and overall acceptability with 20 panelists, the costs will be ($30 X 3 X 20) = $1800, plus 18% administrative fee charged by the university.
